Just a little suggestion that I thought I would throw up. After you click on the console you want to see the covers for, I think it would be better if the letters that didnt have any games under them were made a different color or even disabled. I dont know how hard it would be to pull off but I think it would make looking through the covers a lot easier.

I like that idea and I agree that would make navigation much easier. I'll test it out and make sure the load times aren't too bad.

I have a suggestion too about alphabetical by system searches.

Is it possible to lose the word "The" from titles that begin with it? Loads of games are starting to fill the "T" sections even though categorically they shouldn't be there.

Just from the SNES section.
Tetris Attack
The Lawnmower Man
The Legend of Zelda 3
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The Lion King
The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse
True Lies

Am I just being picky or does this bug anyone else?

Programatically I think I can have the site ignore "The " for the purpose of organizing covers.

So instead of programming a ton to get around this, I just renamed all of the covers that were "The Something" to "Something, The" instead. This should work out a hell of a lot better in the future.

Wow! Fast work.

That's what's great about this site. Suggestions are listened too and people actually care about the way this place works.

Thanks

I think this is a good chance for my suggestion.

This is for Sno

I have made a few covers and uploaded them here before.  I have altered nearly all of them (for the better). I was wondering if it would be possible to upload my revisions in place of the old covers that are already on the site.  (I feel kind of embarrassed of how sloppy some of my old covers were).

Unfortunately, some of old covers were not 300dpi (mostly my series of ps1 covers).  The revisions of the covers are still in the same resolution but look far more cleaner and i even have all of the legal information written for each cover.

thanks,
-seth

For now, until I figure out a better way to handle revisions of existing covers, upload them with the word -revised- in the filename and I'll know to replace your existing cover. The obvious flaw in this system is that anyone could do that masquerading as you. For now, do it that way, and I'll figure out how to integrate the upload script to recognize your logged on forum user and tag it that way.
