I need help with printing cover art (Wii U)

I have been trying to print out cover art. When I printed out a test and put it in my Wii U case, it didn't fit, even though I am pretty sure I'm printing at the right size. Width: 10.750 inches, Length: 7.187 inches. Is this the right size?

Is the sizing different in the UK?

what size and type of paper did you use? is it to big or to small?

try legal sized photo paper, that’s what I use

I print covers that size on letter sized paper and they fit fine.  A4 is just slightly larger then letter, so your paper is big enough.  If the covers are too small, your print settings might be automatically adjusting for print margins or something like that.  Double check that your print settings aren't resizing anything.  If for some reason, you printer isn't capable of printing that close to the edge, you might need to use legal size paper or whatever equivalent for the international size.
