I'm not into carving out 100 cases for my Gameboy Games, and one hub would be easier to cut-off...but are these the correct size and dimensions? Has anyone used these?

I have already sent an eMail to the seller asking for the actual width, since I could only find a generalized spec "This case is approximately twice as thick as a standard DVD case" which would be 28mm wide technically, but that could be an exageration by him.
Isn't the DS Case the exact same size as a DVD case?
I did many searches on eBay and Google trying to find short DVD cases(since the hub on a regular DVD case holds GB Games just fine (and Game Gear and TG16 games too).
I have seen 10mm CD replacement cases like this, but they are a bit too thin.

that says it holds 16 discs in a "well" style box.... that sucker is definitely at least 28mm thick.
new ds cases have less to dremel/cut out than old ds cases.

US ds cases are about as thick as DVD cases
European and Japanese cases are thicker because of the manuals I assume

Japanese cases are the same (at least, the few imports I have are).

Difference is, the NDS cases were designed to hold GBA games, which have a very similar form factor to GBC and GB games. While it would probably fit in the DVD well cases, it would probably be lose inside. I personally would rather hack an NDS case any day.

Really though, just bit the bullet and get normal DS cases.  The modification will take you 2min max (~30sec when you're on a role).  The GB/GBC games are sucure inside the case and it lines up perfectly next to the DS covers you already have + you won't need to modify any of the cover inserts on the site.  Its just a lot less hassle, beleive me.  :)

i'm confused. I got a case and it has these plastic bits that hold the NDS games and GBA...and even the GBA don't allow full closer. The regular larger GB/GBC games won't even fit at all. and those plastic pieces...how does that only take 2 minutes? that looks like alot of work, especially for my 70+ games

Or you can just use the "squish 'em in" method.  I like it. :)

oh, i have totally read the info on how to cut-out the pieces...but do not have the patience to do it for 70+ covers. The DVD hubs squish in and hold the games firmly. I suppose, since the width is the same, i will go with this method.
I just wanted to be sure the case width is consistant from DS to DVD
