I have had Lost Odyssey for a while now and it bothers me that it has a loose disc in a paper sleeve just bouncing around in the case.

Is there any cases out there that can be adapted to accommodate 4 discs comfortably while keeping the translucent green like the original?

(I thought perhaps there was a 3 disc flap/hinge that could be used with a 360 case that has the hinge clips)

There is. My PAL version is a double-width case, with two flaps that each hold two discs. Not sure if you can buy them anywhere, though.

If you're after a single-width case, though, I don't know of any.

Even a double wide one would have been a better rout for Microsoft to take, however I want to use the original artwork that came with the game.

I was thinking that perhaps they made a flap with room for 3 discs that could just be used on the cases that already have the clips for a double disc game.

I am also looking for a 2 disc PS2 case. I have Dawn Of Mana and the bonus pre-order disc, I want them to be in 1 case.

I cant find any double disc PS2 cases on eBay. Is there a list anywhere of all the 2 disc PS2 games?

(ill buy a cheap 2 disc game for the case if I have to)

The only PS2 games I know of with two disc cases are Zone of the Enders, Persona 4, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. All of them are great games to own as well (too bad they're not dirt cheap like sports games...) That reminds me, I still have to replace my stolen copy of Subsistence...

Shemmue 2 for the original Xbox came in a double disc case. That is the only one I can think off the top of my head.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty also had a two-disc case. For the version with the bonus DVD, anyway. Not sure if they all came with that or not.

It's odd that the NTSC release is only a 3-disc case with a paper sleeve for the fourth disc. Did they feel that the American audience would not buy a double-width case? Just doesn't seem to make any sense why they'd release it differently in the two regions.

I can't think of any games with a 3-disc flap, only a few with 2-disc ones. You could probably find a normal dvd case with a 3-disc flap, and just hope that it'll have the same clips as a 360 case. It won't all be translucent green, but would still be better than a paper sleeve.

What was the bonus pre-order disc with Dawn of Mana?

And straying off-topic, are there any freeloader type discs for the PS2? I have Dawn of Mana, which never got a PAL release, but I don't want to hard-mod my PS2, and playing it on an emulator on the PC is getting annoying...

Did you get the game used? I Think someone may have switched cases on you.  The original green dvd case that came with it had space for all three discs stacked on top of one another.

There is Swap Magic, though even with that it'll require a bit of hardware modding, not a whole lot though and you won't be doing anything major or dangerous. I hope you have a slim ps2, it's easiest to use that way.

I don't think so, I've heard of this game being packaged the way he describes from a few other places too.

(sorry for the double post)

I'm pretty bothered about the whole paper sleeve thing, too. Still looking for a simple fix.

For the two disc ps2 case, try finding Space Channel 5 or Cy Girls. Both come in the two disc cases and are cheap.

The problem is that Lost Odyssey has 4 discs... ;)

The fourth disc came in a paper sleeve in PAL regions as well by the way....
2 + 3 = 23

Or Devil May Cry 2, which has the advantage of being both cheap and very common (and not very well liked or sought after!).

Don't forget that Blue Dragon also came in a single-disc case, when it clearly has 3 discs.

They must have released two different versions of it, because like I said, mine's a double-wide case with two flaps holding the four discs. As are all the copies I've seen in stores here. Surely it isn't an Australia [and New Zealand?] only thing?

Also, thanks for the info, AppleQueso. I suppose eBay would be the best place to find it?

Do you just mean single-width, or actually single-disc? Because my AUS PAL version has a single-width case, but it has a two-disc flap so all three discs fit.
