Many are excited as we got Mario 35th stuff as Mario on Famicom was released September 13 1985.

Many are excited as we'll probably get Zelda/Link 35th stuff about March as Zelda on Famicom Disk System was released February 21 1986.

But I have not heard anything about Metroid's 35th Anniversary even though it too is next year.
Original launch was on Famicom Disk System August 6, 1986.
Maybe we get Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch and or Metroid Prime 4?

Your title made me think it was one of those spam topics. Haha. But great idea! We already have Metroid 1 and 3 on the Switch, just need the Prime Trilogy, Metroid II, all of the others, and of course a new game would be nice!

rumor is MP trilogy is in the works and nintendo shared a teaser for MP 4 like 3 years ago so lets hope

Yep.
I think there was something hinting towards MP4 news coming maybe soonish month or so ago.
The Trilogy would be perfect as Anniversary thing with 4 coming year or so later.
Also Metroid 1 (with maybe NES graphic Metroid 2) getting simila Game & Watch as Mario (and hopefully Zelda 1&2 with original Game & Watch game (games?) included).
