I want my covers to look nice, have deep blacks and sharp text/images. Hoping to find something on amazon so shipping doesn't kill the price. What are your go-to's for paper?

I don't think they're on Amazon, but I've never had a problem with anything I've printed on Red River Paper products.  Always great prints with bold colors and deep blacks.  Frankly, a lot of times, the stuff I've printed on Red River Paper looks better than retail covers.

I'll second Red River Paper.  Great product and worth the price.  Personally I use the following:

8.5 x 14 (Legal)

You don't really need gloss or semi gloss paper, quality matte will look just as good in the case.

Oh yes! I mentioned Red River 50lb Premium Matte Double-sided legal size paper in the other forum thread you started. Lots of people here have talked about how good this paper is. I think it's a great paper too. I personally have never used it. When I bought my Canon Pixma TR7520 inkjet printer in October 2018, I ordered Paperworks 48lb Semi-Gloss legal size paper. I was blown away at how good the print looks. I still haven't used all 50 sheets because I rarely print any video game covers.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I would HIGHLY recommend from Amazon the following:

PPD Inkjet Satin Pearl Luster Super Premium Photo Paper Legal 8.5 x 14" 68lbs 255gsm 10.5mil X 50 Sheets (PPD135-50)

The only downside to this paper I've found is it's not double sided. Other than that, I have been extremely happy with the quality of the game cases I've printed out. They look absolutely stunning. That, and it seems to be fairly inexpensive for photo paper. You can get a package of 50 for $25.

I hope you find the paper that suits your project best!

If you are using PPD paper, check out their website (photo paper direct) they quite often have a buy one get on deal.
