I don't feel like making a new scan or uploading an old one, but I can if need be. That cover was made with minimal changes to the raw scan, so I think it'll be good enough as an illustration of what my scans look like.

I ask because since my original surge of raw scans and covers, I haven't done much scanning. I cleaned my basement,* and besides the times I needed my scanner, it's hiding in a box somewhere. For an idea of what I have that is unscanned, look at my Backloggery and Xbox Live.

*If my basement is ever clean while my collection is cased and nice looking, I'll post pics. Right now I'm 0 for 2. :(

Slight pixilation and moire effect but its not too bad, nothing "despeckle" in photoshop can't fix.  The real problem is that your cover is 96 dpi.  Tssk Tssk Doom  ;)

I swear I made it at 300dpi - though it was my first cover, I scanned it at 300dpi, made it in NOT MS Paint, etc. Whatever. :(

As anyone who watches my posts over time realizes, these sort of things get pushed aside very quickly.

By December 21:
Post scans of two covers, to compare the different abilities of my scanners.
  • 300dpi, descreen
  • Max dpi, no filters, scaled to 300dpi
  • Max dpi that allows descreen

Maybe other formats too. I just checked, and at least my original scans (in Bitmap format? What?) are in 300 dpi. I also found 300dpi versions of the final front and spine. (Where is the back?) However, final cover.bmp (again, what?) is in 96 dpi. :o
