Hello everyone, I'm new here so I'm not quite sure if this is the correct spot but I uploaded many of my covers that I couldn't find on the main site here. I scanned everything at 600dpi and checked that the scans looked as good as I could get. Some of my covers are unfortunately damaged because I buy most of my games secondhand but I think for the most part the covers look good. Stuff that had foil or shiny parts didn't scan well and I don't know what to do about that, sorry! But I put them here anyways. If you have any questions feel free to ask. This one was very shiny and I scanned and rescanned it and the spine never turned out right

Does your scanner have Moire removal option (aka descreen or derasterize).
Applying that gives better scan results
We can apply that afterwards but results vary.

BTW: Eeevee scans backcover has weird distortion on the back around the barcode.
That too can be fixed, but be carefull.

Looks like my software does have a descreen option! I never would've noticed that. Under descreen it has "general", "newspaper", and "magazine". Do you know which of those I should do?

I would suspect magazine, but it might be worth scanning the same thing with both magazine and general, and see what provides best results

I tried all three and they all looked the same - in that I cannot tell a difference at all :/

Not sure what settings you are using, but left is sharper and has some pronounced vertical lines through Mario's nose. It's still apparent in the right photo, but it's not as crisp (right is fuzzier)

I usually scan on magazine, as I don't think my scanner has a general option.

Sorry internet was down yesterday (I dropped roof black while renovating on the modem and broke the fiber).

Left is better I think.

Sorry I didn't clarify earlier. Left is the raw scan and right is the magazine descreen I'm pretty sure?

When we say to use descreen, it's to remove the Moire patterns

Those are not present in either the left or right from what I can tell.
