My template is finished. I will continue to add different developer logos as I make the covers. Also, I may adjust a few colors like the red/green/blue cartridge background colors as time goes on. From now on, all future development of this project will be here-->

I've designed a new cover template for N64. The template is already complete with all ESRB ratings, all possible accessories/players. It includes developer logos, Player's Choice, Nintendo Sports, etc. Below is an example. The background color correlates to the cartridge color (gold for OoT and MM, half gold half gray for PS2, green, red, yellow for DK64, etc).

I just wanted to see what people think of this and if there is any interest in me posting them as I make them. Not sure that I will though.

EDIT: Forgot to mention.. there are no screenshots anywhere on the cover, and there are a few reasons for this, but the main reason is that the inside of the cover will be one giant HD screenshot.

These are made with the minimalist concept in mind. The idea here is total uniformity but without excluding any information deemed valuable.

EDIT 06/22/2020: After I am done making all of these for UGC, I plan to run these through a script to convert all 300+ covers to CGC format.

It looks like someone is already using a style very similar to the one you have posted.

It definitely doesn't look bad but part of the reason I don't like PAL collections and a lot of JTSC collections is because they look too uniform. Xbox in PAL has a white spine with black letters and that is it. Same with PS2 and they frankly look boring to me. So some may like the uniformity this provides but not for me personally. What I think would be cool (since UGC's are clear on the inside) is to make a cool image for each game so it isn't just a blank white inside. Just my .02.

I have covers for most Disc based games. Let me know if you need something scanned.

That cover you linked has very few similarities to mine. So I'm disregarding that.

As far as uniformity.. yes it would be ideal to have beautiful, clean retail covers, but have you seen what exists for N64? N64 hasn't gotten the same treatment as NES on TCP. There are maybe.. 15? N64 retail covers that are up to snuff (and I have looked at every single one).

Another problem with retail covers is the lack of distinction between variants. Color variants is a big collecting point of N64, and this design highlights that.

The TLDR of this whole thing is that I like my cases to be as uniform as possible...

Also I should have specified. I want the opinions of people who actually have basic photoshop knowledge... not just leeches of TCP.

Wow ok. I have specified many times that I would like to learn how to use photoshop. Additionally I have contributed some RAWS, but if you want to be like that so be it.

For a quick temp cover, I can see where you are going with this, but similar to DVD styled PS1 cases (though I see more of a need of these N64 covers than that [DVD styled]), they are just not my cup of tea.

Due to the fact that most of the N64 covers on here were scanned with sub-par scanners / technology at the time and not too many new scans usually show up with the more advanced scanners of todays market, I could see myself using some of these as "temp" covers to try and kick it in the butt to find others.  I mean..  let me find my one box lolololol

*Edit* Found the box

Thank you!

Here is after some more feedback. I realized the irregularity in logo shapes/sizes makes it too much of a challenge to have the logo on the back equal size to the screenshot. So instead, I opted for 3 screenshots: with the first screenshot always being the title screen.
