Need Quick Advice on Majora's Mask Cart (DONE, Thank you)
(1/2) > >>
Taketheword:
Hi. I'm sure someone here can help me out real fast.

Up until today, I haven't actually owned a Collector's Edition MM cartridge (you know with the holographic label).

This is so different from any other label I've ever seen on an N64 cartridge, that I have to double check that it's real and not a replacement label. (I have nothing to compare it to)

To describe it, it has a striped texture on the surface. It is of course holographic. The cartridge codes (NUS-etc) are very hard (almost impossible) to read through the holographic. It's a very thick label with slightly beveled or rounded outer perimeter.

Does this sound correct?

Assuming this is legit (which it seems to be), this is frankly a pretty crappy looking label in exchange for a "cool" effect.

That's exactly how I remember it.
Xerics:
I don't ave one but A friend of mine did when I was a kid and it looks very familiar to me.
Taketheword:
Thanks guys.

One bit of collector's ignorance that I will never understand is why the Collector's Edition copy of the game (with or without box) is more expensive than the non-collectors edition.

The non-collector's Majora's Mask IS a rarer game.
SegaNomadman:
Meh, people see the "Collector's Edition" and want it over the boring-old regular edition and demand goes up I guess. I will say, I kind of want it just for the neat label...
