My scans suck...

So, am I just destined to have crappy scans, or what?

I have a new computer since last time I tried to scan stuff.  So, I thought I'd try again.

Here's scans of the Guitar Hero: On Tour: Modern Hits and Band Hero Bundles (we need these!).

Scanned at 300 dpi with descreen on (my scanning software that came with the printer/scanner won't let me set it had a higher dpi when descreen is selected.  It's 150 or 300.)

They're blurry.  Suggestions?

Try scanning at 600dpi with descreen turned off.  I started doing this myself and after I resize and despeckle the image in photoshop i can use the image.

Okay, rescanned at 600dpi, leaving the descreen option off.  reuploading now (same links).  Well, the fronts are still uploading, but will probably be uploaded by the time you read this.

Is this better/usable?

Backs probably are, but I think you re-uploadaded the low resolution fronts.
