Hey Sheep!  I know PS1 cases in DVD covers are janky AF (and I've never understood the appeal, nor will I ever), but without anyone saying thank you yet, your covers (as always) are amazing.

I don't really care for them either, but I made a few for fun, just to see if I could. The only PS1 games I might keep in DVD cases are ones that only had one or two games on PS1, and the series continued on PS2- like GTA 1/2/ London, Metal Gear Solid/ VR and Silent Hill 1.

Thanks - yeah, trying to fit a square peg into a round hole isn't always the easiest.  If the game had a big box PC or Saturn release, it's not too bad - but the backs all need to be recreated from scratch - so they are all customs really.

I ask for DVD sized cases because I have so many games that are also that size. PS1 makes up a very small portion of my collection (39/488) And it just looks better on the shelf with the rest of the games that are DVD sized (134/488 for Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and Wii). I also have quite a few games in UGC covers (65/488) which are halfway between DVD and Blu-Ray sized cases. I also go for Saturn and Dreamcast in DVD sized boxes because it again easier to have things cover to the same size (Dreamcast + Saturn = 12/488). The only things that are close to the CD case size are the handhelds (GB, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS 36/488). Then you have the weird cases that don't fit anywhere. PSP is halfway between a UGC and Blu-Ray for height while also more shallow and PSvita is slightly taller than the Nintendo handheld cases but also more shallow. Lastly there are the switch cases which are the same depth as PSP and PSVita but slightly shorter than a PSP game case. Because handhelds have varying size cartridges or use the mini disks like the PSP it is hard to keep them all in the same size cases (except that PSVita games will actually fit in a Switch Case but good luck finding someone to make a custom template for PSVita games using Switch cover dimensions). At least all the Nintendo old handhelds are fit into the same size covers if you get covers from customgamecases.com.

The TLDR of this whole thing is that I like my cases to be as uniform as possible, and changing the more fragile jewel cases for DVD cases satisfies that desire.

Yes I am sorry. I thought the thank you from the original post was good. I am sorry if that was not the case.

Thank you for getting those done. I will be printing them as soon as I can get to a UPS that will let me print.

PSA: Why do we support leeches like this? When you guys are done making his covers, can you come paint my house? Free labor and no thanks required

He has thanked  I think.
And he did provide some great scans.
