Mediafire, box.net, google drive or a similar service that doesn't compress images and post to the forums.

Yep until it's fixed. ;)
Owner is upgrading the site slowly but as the upload workaround works, and is actually better than the original, there is no hurry.
When the uploads were active the storage space filled up quite a lot with useless shit and spam, and only select few members had access to the files.
This workaround makes people think what they upload and every member has access to the stuff.

We actually prefer as little as possible touched up raws (the rawer the better).
If your scanner has descreen option (aka derasterize or moire removal) you can use it, but we prefer no other filters nor any filters applied afterwards.
600DPI, absolutely flat and straight.

Thank you.

By underlining scanner I meant that when you scan you can use the de-screen if you have it, but not afterwards (I didn't mean to correct you about printer/scanner. Actually I didn't even notice that. ;D).
I too use cheapest Canon printer scanner to scan.

By raw I mean unaltered scan (opposite to ready all cleaned-up cover).
