The Neo Geo X is basically that.  Portable with an enclosed dock that looks just like a mini AES console.

Hmm, yeah, but the Neo Geo X is too big to scale with the Classic Minis. Same size as the real one, isn't it? How would a potential NG Mini scale with the existing minis, maybe mini TG16 size? I never owned either, but I did used to have a 1 slot arcade cab converted from a RoboCop.

No, it's markedly smaller.  The original AES was a monster.  Width of the original TG16 in 235mm, AES is 325.

I'm pretty sure the controller is the same size, but the console itself is much smaller.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Couple of questions: #1 Do you think the SNES, Genesis, NES and PlayStation (and Atari Flashback X, if you've seen it) minis are all to the same scales?

Second, what would the proper size be for a TG16 and Neo Geo AES at the same scale as the SNES Classic?

I'm not sure.  I have all of those minis, but I don't own a TG16 or AES (I just have a PCE and MVS).

LOL, I do indeed.  I'll have to measure though.
