How can you tell that it's rare version.
Just checked ebay and there seems to be plenty of these at low prices and that say they are working and have (as far as I can tell) identical markings.

Oh the indentifier is the NUS-NW4E-USA-1 (instead of just NUS-NW4E-USA) code on the label which handily is missing from your label...

There are two versions. The ones you are seeing are the ones with the save glitch (randomly deletes your save file).

There are two ways to tell. On the front label, the bottom line of text (the model) ends in a “-1”. The second way is that the stamp on the back has an “A” after the number (this one is 09A).

Now due to severe front label damage, the “-1” is torn off. However, it is obvious by text alignment that the “-1” was originally there. I’d have to draw you a picture to explain the alignment. But if you look at how on the normal version the “N” on the top line perfectly lines up with the “N” on the bottom line. On this one (and all of the fixed versions), the second line is slightly shifted to the left due to the added text.

Edit: You’re right. It was handy for me that it was missing. ::)

Because I am obsessed with these mini systems, I got this in the mail today. Yeah it's AT Games, but it is HDMI and so cute.. It will be modded with a raspberry pi. PSC controller and other items shown for scale.

Is that the Flashback X?
