Not sure about the s-video. I didn’t know that was possible. :o My N64 is modded for RGB. And nearly ever other retro console I can think of has native RGB output (HD Retrovision cables are used in this case). Except of course the NES which I plan to get modded. --- End quote --- Right. I knew about the Y/C but it didn’t occur to separate them. I did find (online) an S-Video to BNC Y/C adapter. I could combine that with some BNC to RCA adapters and voila. |

I also wonder if the digital audio RCA could be used to carry composite. That would allow composite and component over one output. Either that or just have component be on 4 outputs and use the other 4 for composite and s-video (sending the composite over G and the s-video over R/B). Effectively creating an 8x4 matrix for component, composite, and s-video. I could even program the remote to do the legwork. But I wonder if having a null output from the matrix over one signal would interfere with the other.. but that isn’t the case with the Pelican switchers. |

I have a half dozen on one of my Extron switches. |

So my Nintendo Online expired yesterday and I wanted the physical Tetris 99 anyway (and I never bought the DLC), so what the heck. $30 minus the $20 I would have spent for Nintendo Online, equals $10 for the game. And yeah, the Galaga Arcade 1up in the "background" is part of my May pickups as well. On clearance for $50 at Walmart. It's worth $50, just for the wood and monitor alone, to me anyway. It'll be modded with some more vertical games. Splatoon 2 I got a few months ago but I don't think I ever mentioned it. Was marked "Online item", but I got it in store at Target, so maybe a return, and that's also why it was marked down to $20? And/or they are trying to get rid of the versions with the guide? |
