Final Fantasy XIII Japanese Cover

First of all feel free to move this if it's not in the right place.

So the FF XIII cover was just released and........it looks pretty ugly. I'm sure when we have the complete thing a lot of people will make the simple white background with the logo. Don't you agree?

I'm not... overly crazy for it... and I'm not overly crazy for the rebranding of the PS3 either... I would definitely need to make some changes. I think they missed the mark with the white background. 12's seemed a little busy for me, but this seems too bland. Not really simplistic, but more bland. I'd rather it be busy.

Maybe they went with a simple image because they could.... its a Final Fantasy game....you could put no image and just the words Final Fantasy XIII and it would sell

No comment 'till the US version really; seeing as most Japanese FF's simply had a title and nothing else, I guess you could say it's a step up. Expecting something cooler for the US art though
