The aliasing on the covers is because retail covers are printed off at 600dpi, so this is a scaled down version of that size (causing aliasing). I mean I can sort of understand it as (1) Sony protects their trademarks, and (2) It's easier to distriibute a 200dpi image than a 600dpi one. However, looking at the ESRB logo, text, and the PlayStation trademarks, you can notice the aliasing. I'll just wait for an EU member to upload a scan so I can just custom make the NTSC one. |
