Request: Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari Famicom

Yeah, the translation does not sound that well. :)
The OCR software of the Google Translate app does not always pick up the right character or the smaller sub-characters above some of the words.
But I guess, it is enough to get a rough idea. The text on the famicom box mostly highlights ingame features and game mechanics. It does not really have a story.
I would probably just take the text from the US release "River City Ransom".

I think my Kunio-kun The World Classics Collection ASI are Japanese only texts.

Yeah, but the English region release, Double Dragon & Kunio-Kun: Retro Brawler Bundle, has brand new English translations for all 11 Famicom games. Too bad there is no physical copy of this version. For me, the ability to have all games fully in English trumped getting the Japanese physical copy. Especially since it's on sale for half price (19.99).
Here is the intro text for Downtown Nekketsu Story (US Americanization text wouldn't work as it's not a Ransom in Japan):
Riki: K-Kunio! What're you...
Kunio: I'm going to Reiho too.
Riki: Whatever!
Riki wants to save his girl, Kunio seeks an old friend. They head to Reiho high, with their two goals linking them together, a blazing battle begins...

OK - well, i went with the US text, but i was lazy and just cut it from the completed box, meaning the characters names are wrong, but i'm feeling burnt out on this cover and not enjoying it any more - so....here it is for now. I may return to it. Feedback welcomed.

Awesome. Thanks for your help Sheep! I'm happy with this cover for my own collection but I'll leave the thread open in case anyone else is still working on alternatives
