So how's the status at the moment?
We pretty much avoided everything, less than 100
TESTED cases with-in 200 kilometers radius. I say tested as many didn't get tested as cases here were mainly mild.
I even might have had it as I had many of the symptoms of the mild variety (head ache, mild cough, mild sore throath, partial lost of taste/smell, higher than normal temperature (but not yet fever. I think my normal is 36.5, I had 37.2 - 37.5 for few weeks, but fever starts at 38), tiredness, ect... ).
10 related deaths maybe, not sure how many were directly due to Covid and how many just had the bug when they died.
Basicly only major cities were affected, as well as border towns next to Sweden (coutry which had (and still has) it bad).
Restrictions are slowly lifted and immeadly more cases started appearing around the country, but nothing alarming.
I think currently in whole country 24 people are in hospital due to the bug, one being in ICU.
Two thing that has been suggested (not broven) by higher up medical authorities to have protected us from worst effects are the effective vacine cocktail we get as kids and the flu shot variant chosen this year.
Also fast started isolation and effective clenlines campigns helped.
Masks were immeadly sold out so even we the medical personel pretty much went unprotected thru the few months. We had some fabric masks that were there to ease the hysteria among relatives of the patients but in actuality they only caught the major globs of flem (totally useless against viruses or bacteria).

Of course we had better equipment that we could have used if shit hit the fan, but so far no need for them.
