Nope, didn't have extra cash back then.
Then I had but they were out of stock.
So if anyone is willing to sell one at reasonable price... 8)

I got mine about a week ago.  Between work and holidays, I haven't had time to set it up yet.

I got mine about a week ago as well.  I've played with it a bit, and I really like it.  I have been using the AVS and I do think the NT provides a sharper picture, but I play on a large high quality TV and sit closer than I probably should.  Sitting 12 feet away I'm not sure I see much of a difference.

I haven't had time to jailbreak or play with the interface much - maybe over Christmas I'll do some tweaking.

One negative, and I've seen a lot of people talk about this online, the NES cart slot is loose.  The cart is surprisingly wiggly in there when it's connected.  It isn't a big deal to me as nothing is near it while I play, and I use the 8bitdo controllers.  But I wonder if using a wired connection and jerking it the wrong way could cause the cart to move and mess up the game...or worse.  Either way, definitely not a deal breaker, but for $500 I'm a little surprised.
TDIRunner:
The open cart slot is by design.  They've covered the reasons on Twitter.  Maybe the carts are looser than they should be, but at the end of the day, you should never touch a cart in a console while it's on.  This is true for all cart based consoles.

Yeah, as I said this isn't really an issue for me.  Also I use an Everdrive, so that basically just lives in the console full time.  My thoughts were if you use a regular wired NES controller, and the system is jerked slightly by the cord while playing.  I suppose it's heavy enough to where that won't matter, but still, I was surprised at just how loose it really is.
