Whats the best photo paper to use to make the covers look as close as possible to original covers? |

There really is no "best". Personally, I've always preferred Epson's papers. Any high quality photo paper from them is going to do the job very well. |

If you're using an inkjet printer, the best paper to use is Paperworks 48 lb Semi-Gloss Legal Size Paper. Legal size paper is 8.5 x 14. Every cover will fit on this paper. This paper is very close to the same paper PlayStation 2 covers are printed on. If you're using a laser printer, the best I can recommend is Graytex 40 lb Soft Gloss Laser Paper. Make sure you buy this paper in legal size 8.5 x 14. Inkjet printers are the best for printing covers as well as photos. Semi-gloss paper will give your covers that official box look. The blacks will be nice and deep too. Semi-gloss paper is also known as lustre and satin. Laser printers are not going to give you deep blacks. The color won't be as rich either. Want a good supply of ink but want to save money? Buy new compatible inkjet cartridges from RefillBay.com. That's where I order inkjet cartridges for my Canon Pixma TR7520 inkjet printer. |

I used to cut into two pieces of 8.5x13, before I had a printer that could handle 13x19. If your printer can’t handle 13x19, then you’ll need to make sure it will allow for custom sizes, as 8.5x13 is not a traditional paper size. On a side note, despite what many may assert, you can’t buy fine art/proper photo paper in legal size. There are legal size papers that will do the job, but they’re far from the best. I also HIGHLY recommend against using anything but OEM ink. It’s a real gamble. Some work just fine, but they can also destroy your printer. |
