I'm not coming back until the errors are fixed. It's really annoying seeing:

Database Error: Incorrect string value: '''' for function inet_aton
File: /var/www/thecoverproject.net/html/forums/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 2568

EVERY SINGLE TIME after I read one post and try to read another. I just randomly try again a few hours later, and look at another post. As a matter of fact, I.had to copy the "start new topic" link to my phone clipboard and open it a few hours later, just to make this post. Now I can't use the site again for a while. Anyone else? Is there a workaround?

I have never gotten that error, nor any other error since November 9th when Snowcone fixed the site.

I do use Firefox in the strictest private mode which clears all temporary stuff when I close the browser.
Have you tried clearing all cookies and cache?
Maybe that helps?

I get it constantly.  Had to use a different browser just to post this as I couldn't get this thread to load.

Something wrong with the browser?
Bad cookies?
Something fishy stored at cache?

I also haven't had a single issue since Snowcone's last major fix.  For what it's worth, I use Chrome.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I have personally, it got to the point where I almost gave up on the forums, but I found a solution that seems to work for myself, I tried turning on the VPN that I have in Chrome, which is Touch VPN and changed my country to United Kingdom, anytime I've left it on I haven't a problem since, you can find Touch VPN here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/touch-vpn/bihmplhobchoageeokmgbdihknkjbknd/reviews?hl=en-US , it is completely free to use, but as far those not using a VPN and still having issues with the Database error, I have reason to believe it has to do with Cloudflares Ddos protection conflicting with some IP addresses, I could be wrong, but that seems like the issue considering turning on my VPN completely resolved the issue for me, anywho I hope this helps anyone out and hopefully we can the forums back in proper working order soon! :)

Ok folks. I apologize for the issues here. I've been fighting with this for a few weeks now and it looks to be related to IPV6. It hasn't hit me before because my ISP is all IPv4, but i'm posting this from a Comcast connection which uses IPv6 natively and it's causing all sorts of issues. My guess is the VPN that skullpanda86 is using converts him to a v4 connection. I've written a really hacky custom patch that might address this so please test and let me know if things are working better. The bad news is this might force a migration to a different forum platform.

I have had the same issue these last couple of weeks. The main site would work all right, but every time I visited the forums I could view exactly one forums page before getting an error message.

The patch seems to work though, thanks.  :)
Right now I can browse the forums again without trouble. Only avatars are not showing, but that seems to be a different issue.

I was also getting frustrated trying to go to different forums for the past three weeks. When I would go to another one, I would get the same error message ShoothimNow posted above. Thank you for the update, Snowcone. I have been testing the site out and now I can go to different forums without any problems. I feel whole again!

First post I've been able to make without this error. Glad to see it's hopefully fixed!
