sheep2001:
Not sure to be honest - I hated the feel of them immediately and hardly used it at all.  Everything just felt too ‘kiddy’.  Small and toy like.

I know other people love them, so it might just be me  ???
Megatron:
I hated using the joy cons, until I got this thing.  It's a grip for the Switch, they also have a joy con grip for docked mode, that extends the right side of the controller, so that your thumb has proper distance from grip to thumb stick.  Less cramping of the hands.  Honestly, I kickstarted this like 2 years ago and have been really surprised at how comfortable it makes using the switch/joy cons

I've always been a fan of rumble or force feedback in controllers since it's been available (I bought a PS1 dual shock controller when it first launched).  So I've looked forward to trying out the HD Rumble just to see if it feels as different as Nintendo claims.  However, I absolutely agree that the Joy Cons are too small and unusual for me to use for any type of extended gameplay.  They probably work well for games like 1-2-Switch, but for any traditional game like Mario or Zelda, the Pro Controller will be a requirement for me.

Well Switch does come with the Joy-Con middle thingie.
I turns the Joy-Cons in to decent Pro Controller replacement.

Wile I prefer my pro controller. I will admit that I originally disliked the joycons. I mainly use them in handheld mode, but I did get extension caps to make them taller and bigger to help with hand cramping.
