This second puicture shows the other side of the wall
There are nine of those spaces between the spans.
The blanks are 2 by 4s and each space is 220+cm high and were filled with saw dust, pieces of old news paper, pieces of styrofoam, pieces of glass and a beer bottle.
The gray bits at the bottom are wool blocking saw dust from pouring from under the floor of my room.
Similar but bigger bits are at the top (I'll try to remember take pictures of those as well) are blocking 15cm high, 50cm wide, 400+cm long spaces filled with more sawdust!!!

These 2 pictues give some idea of ammount of  the saw dust taken from the worst spot.
Each log is 7 inch or so high.
There was atleast 5 cubic meters of saw dust total on the floor and between the inner wall.

These picture shows the area cleaned.
The pictures show the roof beams I need to remove after my Sister's husband calculates and orders a replacement beam.

Straight thru the hole showing the spot of the old window that I plan to enlarge and replace with bigger window.

View to the right

View to the left

The area is 225cm long and 535cm long.

These pictures show the area behind the right end wall I could use to make closet or something.

As you can see the space is long (roughly 22 meters actually) but as the shape is acward and I don't really know what is under the wool and saw dust, and the floor beams are already carrying huge load ( concrete slab of our Sauna) I don't know how usable that space is.

No new photos now as there has benn hiatus caused by the person calculating the new roof supports having been buzy.
But the plans have nudged forward.
He did premilinary calculations and after some forced change suggestins to my plans (which I think are bit over cautious... but he is professional) and took some additional photos and measurements, and is now doing the final calculations, after which I can order the new roof beam or beams.

I'll take photos when we either install the beam/beams or do insulations, or tear down old fireplace.

Today I'm continuing the renovation.
To take down that wall I either need to brace the ceiling temporarily, then remove the wall and then build permanent support for the ceiling, or open and remove the ceiling completely... I decided to go by opening the ceiling.

This way I might be able to build storage space between the ceiling and the roof or make my ceiling higher, or at minimum fix the insulation of the roof.

I'll take pictures as we open the ceiling and will post after we are at suitable stage, probably tomorrow.

After the wall is down we can asses if it is possible to remove or replace the old roof beams behind the side wall.
Currently looking that not much can be removed but at least I can build some nice shelves there.

OK some new photos

This first shows the new storage space between the sauna on the right and outer wall on the left (it comes more out but could not fit to take wider picture).
The space above the horizontal beams (all the way to the sauna wall) is roughly two meters wide, one meter high and three and half meters long.

Behind that shiny wall would be another three meters of space but didn't have enough insulation sheets (takes two weeks to order) nor brother and father time or will to do it currently (I being just too big to properly move there and astma doesn't like the dust).

Under the horizontal beams would be somewhat unobstructed (some beams bit on the way but they might be movable) and fully cubic space of two meters by one meter by six and half meters... but it's full of insulation wool (not sheets but free fluff) and sawdust, about 10 cubic meters (or 353 cubicfeet).
Might take that (and the other extension space mentioned) into use next year (or sooner if I get good offer from suction truck to come andd get it away).

There will be insulation between the beams as currently outside air gets here from various spots.
Also ceiling is missing thing insulation sheet layer.

Then walls, floor and ceiling will be covered with film plywood.

This one shows ceiling insulation of the room almost complete
After insulation is finished 1cm thick wooden blanks will be added matching those roofbeams that get covered with the thinner insulation.
they will hold the thin insulation up and the MDF ceiling blanks will be nailed into.
Photo also shows how the ceiling will get raised 25cm (floor gets lowered 20).
Also in to the space where there is now hanging plastic I will install cable shoot.
Also the plywood on the wall will be removed and insulation added and cableshoot connecting to the ceiling cable shoot will be inserted.

The chimney in the middle will be insulated and coveed with white chipboard.
I't's unused and leaks cold air but I didn't have time to tear it down.
Maybe next summer...
On to the left of it in the shadow you should see new roof support beam standing waiting to be installed tomorrow.
After that one of the old roof supports (the third from the left) along with the horizontalbeam will be removed allowing better access to the behind the sauna area.
Also my bed will be below the beams on the left and that beam would block my view to the TV I am hanging there on to the horizontal beam second from the left.
The beams are about 90-100cm above the new floor.

About the under beam space in reply #21:
Checked it more carefully and noticed it seem that the room below is higher and thus the floor of that space is too so there is only 20-40cm (mostly 25cm) of stuff to remove instead of the 80cm I thought, so I just might empty that space :o... and maybe even that area behind the silver insulation wall :-\... 8)

Cleared the area of almost all trash, wool and sawdust.
Took nine huge trashbags, would have needed one more to finish...
Tempted to knock down that silver insulation wall that my brother just build and clear rest of the area... it's just ten more bags... and few more sheets of insulation... and some sheets of particle board and plywood... and 5-10 more hours of work... SHOULD I ? :-\

I hope those are steel toe Crocs.  Safety first when involved with construction.  ;)
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Currently not using anything more heavy that vacuum cleaner and that stays on the floor, as for lifting stuff hammer is the limit currently or power screwdriver.
