(Request) Scans for Game Boy Games

Hi Ya'll!

I've been stalking and using the site for years but I finally decided to pull the trigger and join.

Anyway, there have been a few high quality scans of games that have unfortunately alluded me, mostly Game Boy games. I would be more than happy to build the covers myself if I can just get ahold of some decent scans. I know some of these are on the site already, however the quality of them are less than desirable…

What I need are-

Gameboy Color-

• Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 : Coby's Journey and Tara's Adventure (I have actually been rebuilding these from scratch, but I need some better scans of the backs of the boxes in order to finish them)

Gameboy Advance-

• An American Tail: Fievel's Gold Rush
  
• Battlebots: Design & Destroy
  
• Car Battler Joe (Current scans are in incredibly poor condition)
  
• ChuChu Rocket!
  
• Demikids: Light Version (Current Scans are in poor condition)
  
• IK+: The Ultimate Martial Arts Simulation (Current Scans are in poor condition)
  
• Lego Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge
  
• Power Rangers: Time Force ( I actually found some pretty large scans online, but they weren't de-screened during the scanning process, making clean up almost impossible)
  
• Spy Kids 3D: Game Over
  
• Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 (Current Scans are in poor condition)
  
• Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (Current scans aren't bad, but could be better)

I greatly appreciate all the work everyone does here and I hope I can contribute in anyway I can. I have made numerous covers using scans from my personal collection and I plan to share them with everyone once I get it all set up on my box account.

Hi! I own Fievels Gold Rush. I can make a scan for it if  you'd like. I've got two other games that don't exist on the site. Would you be able to make those into a GBA cover for me if I'd provide you the scans? Thanks!

As long as you can make some good scans, sure! 

Go ahead and scan those other games too. Even if I don’t get a chance to work on them there are plenty  of other talented users who would probably be able to make them for you.

As you can see I own the EU version of the game. The box can be a bit harsh here and there, but I think Photoshop can do a lot. Let me know if it's alright.
If the scans are good, would you be able to add the US logo's? I've only downloaded covers with the US template as seen in the link below.

Thanks I think I can make a decent recreation of the American cover using those, though are sure you don't want the EU version of the cover?

Also a quick question but are you selecting the "Descreen" option when you are scanning? if you aren't, then you need to. When I looked at the scans they were covered in artifacts and screen lines. Thankfully my computer is powerful enough that I should be able to clean them up just fine, but sometimes a scan will be unfixable. As I mentioned in my earlier post that I actually found some decent Power Rangers scans but due to the lack of being descreened, it was impossible for me to clean them up.

Descreening is a necessary thing for us in order to make a high quality covers so it would be a great help to all of us if you make sure they are as clean looking as possible. If you have any questions I think there is a pretty good scanning guide somewhere on the forums.

Anyway thanks again for the scans and I will get to work on them as soon as possible!

'll have to check about the descreening. To be honest I have no idea. I just got this scanner.
No the American version is good for me. Otherwise I'll have all covers with the American logos and one with the European

There should be a check box in the pop up window that appears before you make your actual scan. The Descreen option should be there along with the other adjustments options.

Go ahead and re-scan American tail with the Descreen option on when you scan the others, that way we can make a better cover, especially since we will probably go ahead and make the EU cover.
