So there's no offical Virtual Console, but we still have tons of classic games! I've included remakes, as long as they include the original game(s) or a close approximation anyway. I made a spreadsheet of all the "virtual console" games on the Switch. Yeah, I counted Mega Man 9 and 10 as NES games and Ultra SFII as an arcade game. I also counted the Japanese and US NES Renegade as two games, not just because of the vastly different art style, but also because of the sequels that branch off of them, Japanese into River City Ransom and US into Target: Renegade. Also, yeah, I made up names for a few Japanese only games that sounded too Japanese. I found out the Tecmo Sumo series came to the American Wiiware service as Eat! Fat! Fight!, so I renamed the first game on Famicom (NES) to Slap! Strike! Fight!. Why not? So sue me. By my count, here are the totals: 187 Arcade games (186 w/o Ultra SFII) 109 Neo Geo MVS games 102 Atari 2600 games 85 NES games (83 w/o Mega Man 9 and 10) 57 SG games 16 Atari 5200 games 10 SNES games 6 PS1/PS2 games 5 GB games 4 SMS games 2 Classic PC games 1 TG16 game And here's my spreadsheet.
