I genuinely love that vinyl is a mainstay.  It’s proof that physical products are still very much so viable, even when digital only alternatives exist.

Same.  Just a few weeks ago I picked up a really nice Sony record player at Goodwill for $8.  I'm not going to become a vinyl collector because I have my limits to the physical items I want to keep in my house and video games are still at the top of that list.  However, I will pickup albums that I really enjoy listening to.  I'll have to post a picture of it later (maybe I already did but I can't remember), but I bought the vinyl soundtrack to the PS3 game Journey.  That is an amazing soundtrack, and the art on the record and sleeve is really cool.

I've also been eyeing that very same RE2 soundtrack along with the SOTC and Doom soundtracks.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

The Square Enix website has another big sale going on for those who are interested in such things.  I had been wanting to buy Gravel on PS4 for a while.  I know it's just Square's version of Dirt, but I still like those games and was happy to see it for $10.

I know we don't really put digital downloads in the pickups thread but I have been having a blast with Slay the Spire since it came out on Switch a few days ago. I've already put about 15 hours into it while most new games I've played lately have only gotten me an hour or two of play time before it just goes on the shelf.

Pulled the trigger and picked this up.

This thing works pretty damn well, and it can use the HD Retrovision Sega Genesis cables, so the picture and sound are amazing.  Ultimately I went with this over the US Turbo Duo, and I'm pretty happy with my choice.

This thing IS a little snug on a TG-16, and it's clearly meant for a PCE.  However, if you unscrew the 2 screws slightly it becomes a more reasonable grip.

Also, the TG-16/PCE mini has been announced.  So that's something...

Nice pickup.  I would like to get one of those myself some day.

Long time lurker, first time engaging here (aside from a post about a mistake on a cover I found last year).

Nothing too special here except Mario Bros. (5-screw variant).

CIB. :D

Also CIB. Found this one at a local used game store (NOT GameStop) mispriced at $18. It's in good shape (not excellent, can see some defects in the cover) but the game itself is in near mint condition and the PCB is genuine. Very excited over this find. :D

Nice pickup on the TG-16.  I have one myself with an Everdrive (I decided right away I could not commit the $$$ required to play the best games).  One question - how do you connect it with the HD Retrovision Genesis cable?  I have two such cables.  Right now I use an aftermarket TG-16 composite adapter to connect it to a CRT.  I don't have a TG-CD or the CD adapter you have.
