June 2019 pickups. Whatchu gots?

Nice pickup on the TG-16.  I have one myself with an Everdrive (I decided right away I could not commit the $$$ required to play the best games).  One question - how do you connect it with the HD Retrovision Genesis cable?  I have two such cables.  Right now I use an aftermarket TG-16 composite adapter to connect it to a CRT.  I don't have a TG-CD or the CD adapter you have.

So I had been using a TG 16 with an everdrive for a while.  The device that I just got basically has a built in everdrive and it has the genesis 2 port directly on the unit.  Here is how it connects...






However, from what I understand, ALL TG-16s have the ability for RGB out.  It's just a matter of modding the console or using the right accessory.  For a few years I have been using this...






It isn't pretty, and without a shell it's fairly fragile, but it taps in to the RGB signal.  I never used the actual component ports on it, instead using the genesis 2 port with the retrovision HD cables.  I got this on eBay  for about $20 a few years ago.  The seller is still making them:

Yes, I'm sure these are cheap, and better (more costly) solutions are available.  But this thing has made my TG16 look great for the last 2 years.

Yesterday's Flea Market finds. Really excited to finally find the third X-Men Game Gear game. Also got Traysia for a great price and found a random Mega Man Wily Wars repro.

I finally found Azure Dreams and Shadow Tower for decent prices.  So now I am only 3 games away from a complete US PS1 RPG set.  



Also...THIS finally came.

I have to admit, I am fairly bummed by the "exclusive backer slipcover".  I mean, it's ok.  But I don't love this design.  The back is alright I guess.  But the original place holder was MUCH better IMO.  I suppose it's the game that matters, and I will test that out later tonight.  But color me disappointed in this backer exclusive copy.  And I picked up a Best Buy version of Curse of the Moon because "why not? physical copy."

I'm not sure what you mean by player two setup either.

I have one, but I use it to easily switch between my Wii and Wii U (which play on two different TVs) since it can be optionally powered with batteries and therefore, doesn't need any wires.  It also has the option to widen the viewing angle of the remotes if needed.

So my game room will be player one on network games and my computer room that will have considerably less consoles (2nd ps3, 2nd xbox, 2nd xbox 360, 2nd Wii and so on) will be the player 2 setup for network games.
