Hello! In preparing for the upcoming release of this game on Switch, I was hoping to find a cover for this game that did not include reference to X-2.

X-2 is going to be included as a download code, thus it is easily ignored if a player has no interest in it and only wants to play FFX on the cartridge. The original retail cover for playstation 2, front and back, would be ideal for my tastes (I find the references to "Characters with Voices" and "Complete 3D Environments" charming.)

The most difficult issue I can see here is eliminating the dated back matter - the PS2 specific references and DVD rom logo mostly. This might be a much easier project to complete after release, when full scans of the Switch retail packaging are made available.

Sorry if I haven't provided decent raw material here, but hopefully the intent of this request is clear enough. There are high res scans of the linked art on this site. Thank you

Personally, I like the clean aesthetic of the Japanese versions, and this one already posted here should be rather simple to make a Switch front cover with:

You can find both of the original illustrations used to make the front and back covers of the US version over at Creative Uncut, so you can layout the back cover however you want; it would be rather difficult to try and shoehorn the PS2 cover onto a Switch back cover, so using one of those to lay it out how you wish would be much easier, I would think. :) An illustration of just the FFX logo used on the Japanese cover is also there.

Hey! Don't you make fun of those references to "Characters with Voices" and "Complete 3D Environments". Those were cutting edge during their time and they looked damn good on the PS2!

I have covers for most Disc based games. Let me know if you need something scanned.
