March 2019: Finds of year's 3rd best month, but something awful happens on 16th!

Yeah, I know. Still think they could improve the time a bit by not taking preorders so soon. I am still extremely happy about that game and the physical edition. Almost bought Bloodstained from them today, too... but have a deal for a nice Sega Mega CD waiting and with around 15 Euros extra for Shipping from the USA to me its GAME or CONSOLE this month, but not both... ^^°

After sitting on this for some time, I decided to pull the trigger on an M-Cable from Marseilles. The 9 foot one was on sale at Amazon, and while I don't NEED a 9ft cable, it was cheaper than the 6ft model and 3ft is waaay too short.
So if you don't know, this thing basically has a built in upscaler that redraws pixels on the fly - it's an HDMI cable that upscales games and makes them look better (youtube it for way more precise and detailed information). I have been using it for about a day, and I've got to say, it walks the walk. PS3, gamecube, 360 - all look definitely better with this. I also grabbed a mini hdmi-hdmi converter and started using it with my Retrotink. Doesn't do much for anything before PS1/N64 era, but from then on it is amazing. N64 especially. Retrotink helps, but this thing is like fine whipped cream on a sundae.
So is an HDMI cable worth over $100? I would say so - depending on what you're going to use it with. Pretty much everything from PS1 generation to PS3 generation looks great. Anything before or after, minimal to no benefit.
Also, will not work with 4k.

Not as crazy as last month but I had some good finds at the flea market over the weekend.

Went to Half Price Books on Sat and Sun. Had a 40% off coupon on Saturday and picked up the Valve book. Went back Sunday and got FF7 with a 50% coupon.
Next up is some more stuff I got from the tenant in out building (King if you didnt see the last post). Our contact upo there had more stuff she found and gave me. 2 Amiibos, and a PoE guide book. As well as 4 Wii U games and a PS4 game.
Next up are some Shmups!!!!! (greatest genre hands down.) This Darius collection is fan-fucking-tastic. Just wish it had G-Darius on it. Went with the CE since it came with like 15 games vs. the 7 or so on the regular edition. Came with a different soundtrack as a preoreder also. Also glad I had it preordered because damn those reseller prices are INSANE. Picked up Ketsui Deathtiny but unfortunately didn't get the art book like the preorder/first print. Also I still need to buy a PS4...
