I'm requesting the PS2 20th Anniversary Editions of the games like Shenske did for PS1.  I know Shenske didn't want to do them, but my collection is so lonely and cold without the complete set.  At some point does anyone think they can do this?  It would be awesome, epic, and awesome-er.  Please? :-[

iirc one of the big reasons Shenske didn't want to do those was because the ps2 logos are SO EFFIN' HUGE, they're harder to format for this kind of look.

What do you mean the logo?  If there was a reason like that (I don't understand) then I guess that's good enough for me.  Maybe someone else can pick it up one day.   :-\

Meaning that they're large width wise, especially when compared to the FF1 and FF2 logos (and those logos Amano created especially for the 20th anniv. releases, the first 3 FF games didn't have any Amano art)

Examples:

And some others that weren't listed:

That and I don't like Final Fantasy games really.  If your heart isn't in it then it really doesn't turn out all that good.

Yes, those are perect examples.  Plus it is quite difficult to get the art from behind the Final Fantasy text out and enlarge it witout it looking really bad.  I have to kind of guess what was there because the text is covering part of the art.   Also whe it is enlarged it often becomes difficult to tell what it actually is.

Ohhhh I understand now, I had no idea it was that technical.  That's unfortunate I guess, but if it's that big of a problem then I guess it can't be helped.  Thanks for explaining it at least. :D

Yeah, your best bet, if you're wanting a totally uniform set, is to just go with lumberjack42's covers.
