You have two good games to start with.

Make sure you buy Superhot as soon as possible.  In fact, order it yesterday.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

My final haul from the local game store that's closing.  This past weekend was their last and everything was 80% off.  All the DS cases are empty and picked up the Genesis games for the cases also.

Finally was on the receiving end of Target clearance deals.  Picked these up the last two weeks - was admittedly surprised to see "2017" game still in a store - and despite what the stickers say, all games rang up $5.94.  So a pretty good haul for what is AT LEAST 2, maybe 3 good games.

I also finally got my hands on one of these...

I have used my JVC X'Eye almost exclusively for years (even over my CDX) and have been on the lookout for the official controller.  I now have all of the orignial components for the machine, including the controller, ac adapter and rf unit (which will never be used for any reason).  Found it for $30, which is way too high for a Genesis controller, but  it's the cheapest I've ever seen it.

This may be my last acquisition for this month depending on when my last item comes in the mail.

I have covers for most Disc based games. Let me know if you need something scanned.

That’s high on my list. I haven’t played it all yet (though I do own it), so it should be all that much more awesome!

This months VGM box.

Got my Kickstarter RE2 game.  These boxes are absolutely unnecessary.  Both expansions could have fit together in a box half these sizes and been fine.

I got my first gold car from LRG today.  I don't really care about the cards, but it's still neat to get one that's less common.

This is one of their games that I've really been looking forward to.

  • I'm kind of idle... at least for now.
Finally picked this up on the final Sunday of this month. This is the first time I've properly invested in a Sonic game.

This came in the night before the product listing on Amazon said it was "released". I pre-ordered this back on January 28th when it was announced.
Initial Impressions: It has that distinct level of 8Bitdo quality that I've experienced from using these so far, and I plan to beat the rest of Sonic Mania (Plus) with this.
Before this arrived, I was using my SN30 Pro to play the game, and I switched to this during Flying Battery Zone, which I already beat with my M30.
It was about time I had used a theme appropriate controller for this.

Also, I'm pretty sure that most of us modern/new gamers have that confession sitting at the back of our minds that we've never used a six-button gamepad like this (or anything else similar) at all.

And just because I can and want to...

I bought the same 8bitdo Genesis controller, but I got the 2.4 G variant for my preordered Analogue Mega SG.  But I decided to try the controller out on my JVC xeye. I liked it so much, that I ordered the Bluetooth variant for use on my switch with the Genesis classic collection. Now I'm tempted to pick up Sonic Mania on the Switch too... even though I already had it for Xbox and PC.  It's that good of a controller.

*edit*
Although now that I think about it, my computer supports Bluetooth and I already have Sonic Mania on there. So maybe I'll just play it on there for now. Still, great controller!
