More Atari 5200 swag...

Oh how Wizard of Wor brings happy chilhood memories (altough we played it on C64).

The game is one of fond memories for me too.  I wish the game had the garbled voice dialogue but it still is a classic.

For starters, ome of you had asked me about the cart being damaged from last months pics.  Here are 2 that I took before sending it back to PA.



Also my new VGM box.  Some have also inquired how I like it.  This is now my 4th one and the best so far.  I do not thinbk I will continue since it is $75 plus shipping ($10) for ten games.  It is a cool concept and I like that it helps build my collection for systems I do not really own much for but it could be better.


My games so far.  Starlink was $30 on Amazon so definitely worth it.  Panzer Dragoon was free from another site I visit.  Also Fast Strikers was from Ebay because fuck Play Asia after the shit storm I had to deal with last month.





Adding more Silent Hill items to my collection.


Chrismas haul.  New double rifle bag, holster for my Sig, SNES classic, Atari artbook, Simpsons book, ammo, hearing pro, shirt, NES coasters, headphones, and a few other gun/ gaming odds and ends.


New steel target and work backpack.


And me and a coworker playing NBA Jam while taking a short work break in a tenant space. Lol.

It's probably too late for most of you since I think these sold out pretty quick, but 3DS Nintendo Selects are $4.99 at Target if you are lucky enough to find any.  The only reason I manged to get one was because it was hidden behind some regular games and no one else saw it.  I just happened to grab Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon for $4.99.

They were 10 Euros each.
I kept one and gifted one to each sibling/neace/nephew who has Xbox One.

I was pretty unimpressed with the plush and the controller being changed to the third party design but they were just stretch goals anyway. I did like that the box/manual/cart were very high quality.

I don’t know how Piko gets those licenses. He’s about the biggest a-hole I’ve ever met and has absolutely ZERO communication skills.

And yeah, that plush and the controller look dreadful :/

I kinda expected the plush to be bad because there was an update basically saying the quality/quantity was not as promised from the manufacturer and they pretty much ran away with the money after they got full payment. Just happy that what I actually bought that wasn't a free inclusion works great and is really high quality.

Couple of recent pickups.  First, this Ubisoft triple pack was only released in the PAL region but it works just fine in a NTSC Xbox 360. Only physical releases of these 3 games.  I've been trying to track down Housemarque physical releases which is how I found this.



Next up, some pickups from a local Toy show yesterday.  Beyond the Beyond ended up having both art inserts in stuck in the back tray so I lucked out there.

First pickup of 2019. I haven't posted in awhile, due to sheer laziness to do so and greater (academic) priorities, so no pickups from the remainder of 2018 are shown. I did enjoy Puyo Puyo Tetris singleplayer though.

Sadly one of the better game stores in the St. Louis area has decided to close up shop.  They have some decent sales right now and I wanted to visit at least one last time.  I'll miss that store.

Hit up the same store TDIRunner did last Friday and grabbed a few more common games I needed.  Also picked up the asciipad after watching a My Life in Gaming episode that discussed it.



Hit up a Flea Market on Saturday and found a few things also.

So 3 weeks ago I went to a Goodwill near my inlaws and I found a game for really cheap that I wanted but I had no money.
Yesterday I was up there again helping my stepson get a new car and I decided to stop by and see if the game was still there. I was so happy to see the game and bought it immediately and I am on Cloud 9.



I got it for 20 bucks! the game is complete and the only thing wrong is there was a hole in the box at the back. I don't plan on keeping the box since my collection only consists of boxes intended for storage.

Dead Cells was on sale and I have not heard one bad thing about this game so I figured I may as well try it out.  Both Marios were Amazon preorders.



Tales and Travis are both more preorders from Amazon.




Amazon had this maked down to $45 from $100 so I snagged it.



Half Price Books and a Coupon so I got this for $10



Out of the Woods Kickstarter by American McGee



A classic for $5 so I had to get it.  The wife has not seen it so we will watch it this weekend.  One of my favorite Eastwood movies.
