No, that happened during school. :'(

Also, take a look at PSN. Just a few weeks ago, you could download Rag Doll Kung Fu for free - If that ain't a deal, I don't know what is.

I'm worried most about Nintendo, and kinda worried about Microsoft. Steam is awesome. Nintendo has never had a sale on a digital title. Microsoft's sales are generally crappy. If every company were to charge full price for games 100% of the time, then no company would need to have sales. If they all do this, their profits are higher.

I'll never support downloadable stuff.... I dunno it just hasn't got any kind of the same spirit.... I donwloaded MM9 for WiiWare for example and I'm sooooo unhappy that it is kind of non-existent on my shelf.... Besides WiiWare stuff is the only downloadable content I ever used.... Never did XBL nor PSN nor Virtual Console(which I think is the most unnecessary thing out there)....

Mick Dundee:

I will refuse to use a system that ONLY supports downloadable content. The new PSP looks cool and all, but much like everyone else who stated their dislikes of downloads, I like hard copies.

This will also KILL any Play N Trade and Gamestop sales for these games (can't trade in a downloaded game)

There are a few things I have, or would consider for downloading

I downloaded Castle Crashers for myself and my little brother.

If I didn't already have it, Final Fantasy 7 was just released as a download from the PSN store for $10.

But like I said, I like my physical copies. I'm cheap to begin with and I don't like spending money on ANYTHING I can't keep or physically touch.

Beastman1975:

i personally like hard copies as well ( allthough i do  DL games on my wii and 360, FFVI afteryears anyone ?) but what worries me the most is how fast will people be bootleging on these digital only systems which will hurt the industry even more. i would be bummed out that you wouldnt be able to buy used games anymore  but on the plus side of that gamestop would lose money  ;D.

sheep2001:

I agree - i think ALOT of people buy games as they like to have the physical object, nice artwork, something to display, etc - if you take that away, then what's the difference between downloading a game legitimately or hacking/modding your machine and getting it non-legit?

I have the option of playing non-legit on most of my consoles, but still choose to buy stuff because i feel i have purchased something tangible - i don't think i would have that same feeling if i were not getting a physical thing that sits on my shelf.  Inevitably this will ruin the console for me, as i would end up having too many games at once, and not dedicate time to playing anything in particular (i'm already bad like that with legit stuff)
