That is what I was wondering about quite a few times too :) I've had SNES games shipped to me from the U.S for $3 shipping or $10, both via normal USPS air mail and I've seen auctions on eBay with $19,99 shipping for an Xbox game. Just ONE game :) Normally I don't mind too much because I usually buy games that are rare In Europe or unreleased and with the strong Euro I can strike a good deal after all. But I really wonder why there's such a huge difference in shipping costs.

Seriously, it's just people padding the price.
Sometimes I see items where the shipping/handling costs are about what the item is worth (including shipping) and the starting price is $0.01. They figure any bid they get is more profit.
Nothing wrong with capitalism, but I don't buy from these people (anymore).
I had an e-mail exchange with one of them once over an item I bought that didn't work (usb to N64 adapter). He offered to exchange it if I paid postage. (which was about what the item was worth).
He defended his shipping costs as it included box, packing supplies and trip to the Post Office.
He used newspaper for packing, and got his box free from the Post Office (flat rate box).

On another note, I got a copy of HALO 3 at a garage sale ($10.) but found out, I am not coordinated enough to pay a FPS on a console.  >:(
Back to BF2 on the PC for me.

LOL! Yeah, the first time you play a FPS with dual analog control it takes some time to get used to.

Yeah, mouse and keyboard is the only real way to play an FPS. It's why I like that most FPSs on the PS3 include m/kb support.

Although I believe the Wii-mote/Nunchuck could make for a great FPS - too bad we haven't seen a really good FPS on the Wii yet.

It's not really a true FPS but the Metroid Prime games are great and use the Wiimote/Nunchuck very well. Very intuitive.

I'm actually a fan of console FPS and prefer them over PC FPS. The usual WASD control is easy but running and/or crouching and jumping gives me cramps :) Not to mention all the shortcuts and keys for other functions like flashlight, reload, use and whatnot.

It's not an FPS but back in the day I played the hell out of Tie Fighter on PC. I knew every shortcut by heart and diverting shield energy to the engines or weapon systems while in a heated dogfight  became second nature to me. But I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed by Crysis' control scheme and using the suit abilities on the fly and purposefully :D

While playing Crysis I instantly thought how great it would control with dual analog control and the suit abilities mapped to the d-pad. Sure the mouse aiming is a lot better than a comparably sluggish analog stick but I like it a lot better. To each his own I guess ;).

I would actually prefer mouse and a wireless nunchuck like accessory, with more buttons.

Don't let it be said that you can't find good deals at GameStop!

I just picked up Fatal Frame 1-3 for $75, all complete and in mint condition. It seriously looks brand freakin' new.

Now I can finally use those Fatal Frame custom covers I made!

a little over a week ago I managed to snag a SanDisk V-Mate from GameStop for $10 brand new. It uses rca cables to convert video to a portable device or just for PC use.

DVD, PS1, 2, 3, Cable-with use of a VCR or Cable Box, anything RCA.
After buying it I looked on line to see what it normally goes for. $50-$80! I couldn't believe it.

My wife also just recently got me a Limited Edition Anime Box Set of "Trinity Blood" for $22....original Retail cumulatively for all discs and the special edition hard box would be about $200

HOT DAMN THATS AWESOME!

Lets see...I was with my friend when he sold his copy of MvC3 to Gamestop (idk why) and I figured I'd ask if they had any stickers lying around. The clerk then threw me the stickers that were the preorder bonus to MvC3, lol.

My girlfriend's aunt (or someone else in her massive family, who knows) gave me a pile of her son's old PC games around Thanksgiving because I mentioned I collected that stuff. I don't even own a PC. Her brother took Warcraft 3 and its expansion, the ONE cross platform game in the pile. >:C

Not exactly a yard sale find, but I was able to score a Commodore 64c (in box), Disk Drive (in Box), Datasette, and a boat load of software for free off my girlfriends parents, they were just going to throw it out.
My LPs Channel. Currently playing Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Resident Evil 2.

Nice find shenske although here in austria/germany most of the Master System are pretty cheap to get private. Phantasy Star is a real gem though.

My find of the year was a new (but not sealed) Stadium Events complete NES game for 2 Euros.

As I don't need it for my collection I'm currently asking myself if I should put it up on ebay or sell it in a forum.
2 + 3 = 23

I'm interested!!!

The yellow Scandinavian FIN/SWE/DAN manual (this is stock photo)

The blue German manual

Which of the two euro versions you have, as I doubt you have this:

The rarest of them, the white USA manual

BTW: Does anyone have knowledge what other versions of this manual exist.
