They are great... I also  have the first GB legends as well. Gameboy games still very cheap if u buy in lot  so I'm picking alot of them more that anything else.

I'm trying to collect as many as I can buy cheap Original Gameboy Handhends. I might Have about 12 working 4 are complete with box 2 are play it loud in clear acrylic cases. I always bought about 12 broken ones in a lot at least I should be able to salvage 1-2 and i will have a lot of shells for reserve... I don't paid for that 10 bucks for gameboy and the complete one i got got them for less that 20 each.. some colors are harder and expensive to find and buy.

12 broken units, nice!  That's my kind of purchase.  If the screens aren't cracked or sun-beaten, then I bet you can get damn near all of them to work.  It's nearly impossible to completely disable those things.  Built like tanks they are :D

I think I was watching that auction for a while.  I buy a LOT of broken consoles.  Then I fix them and never bother selling them LOL!  I gotta stop hoarding all this crap.

Well that said, do you or anyone else have a gameboy they want to sell me ? I had my original one I got when they first came out when I was a wee one however in the move it has been MIA. Just a working fatboy is all I need

I actually don't have a single GB phat at the moment.  I keep watching auctions, just haven't taken the plunge yet.  I've literally got everything but LOL!

I'll just assume you're referring to me? They just said that the internals were 'fried' and they didn't bother bringing it to sell. So in the mean time I'll just get ready to shell out the 40 bucks that the local retro store wants. Even if I did get it broken, I know nothing of console repair (I mainly work with Xbox controllers), and the store charges at least $35 to repair it. They're always fairly priced until you get to the big ticket stuff.... :'(
