Do they have to be U.S? Im pretty sure they have at least one of those at my local place...not sure on the price though but i believe cheaper than that.

Did you mean does it have to be PAL? I'm your friendly German neighbor, remember? ;)

My Xbox is modded so I don't care what region it is as long as it has German or English text. But if it's the one sheep is looking for then let him have it. There's too many new games that I want coming out in the next 2 months that there's no room for another one :)

Yeah I think I got my copy of KOTOR1 from blockbuster for around $15 a year or two ago. Still haven't gotten around to playing past the first planet, lol.

I'll keep an eye out for another NTSC-U version, i have no idea how much it would cost to ship a game to the "old world" though ;)

That is what I was wondering about quite a few times too :) I've had SNES games shipped to me from the U.S for $3 shipping or $10, both via normal USPS air mail and I've seen auctions on eBay with $19,99 shipping for an Xbox game. Just ONE game :) Normally I don't mind too much because I usually buy games that are rare In Europe or unreleased and with the strong Euro I can strike a good deal after all. But I really wonder why there's such a huge difference in shipping costs.

Maybe because many people want to make a small fortune out of overpriced shipping costs.... ;)

Agreed. Its just a way of upping the price a bit more in my opinion.

Man, you know what's a shame? I've found a bunch of old N64 games for barely a dollar each, but at $3.99 shipping each, a $3 order soon becomes a $40 order. Anyone know of an online retailer that sells old games for cheap, hopefully in bulk so I only have to pay one shipping fee per order (rather than per game)?

Not a garage sale find, but......

Some kid that goes to college with my daughter offered to give me his modded x-box and stuff....
Do I want this? and why?

I have never had anything x-box. (However, I would be interested in playing Conker: Live and re-loaded)

The box is modded with a chip (not soft-mod) if that makes any difference.....

(I still cannot make my daughter go out with him, though....   :D )

yes you want it - even if it's only for emulation.

Lots of decent games to pick up for next to nothing 2nd hand too.

This wasn't a garage sale or anything, but I felt like mentioning it. I got Parasite Eve 2 in mint & complete condition for free.

Someone tried to trade in a whole bunch of games to GameStop, including this one which we don't take anymore on account of it being a PS1 title. They must have just assumed it did get traded in with all the other stuff and they just left it there. No one working at the time was interested, so I got to snag it. Freakin' sweet.
