Garage saling for treasures

It kills me that those stupid dust covers go for so much. I seriously had about 300 at one point. The new/used retail store that I worked at for years put SNES games on the shelf without them (because you can't stack them with the covers on), so I always just took them all home. Then a friend was looking to acquire about a hundred or so back in like 2000-2001, so I just gave all of them to him. Coulda made a few bucks on em. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20 and at least they went to a friend.

So one would think that he would already have a power cable if there was a game inside... and he got it out.  I don't think he would try to unscrew it with the hunch there is a game inside  ::)

Borrowed them from a friend down the street. Also Wiggy, if you're talking about the blanket trick, 3 blankets 20 minutes. Well when I turned it on, intro screen...FREEZE!! Tried it again (3 blankets, 20 minutes), turn on, intro screen, sign into some guys Xbox Live and...FREEZE!!  :'( I think I might sell the system itself (without HDD and DDR game). How much do you think that would get me? It's a local game store by the way.

If you're wondering why I'd need the HDD, it's because I was planning on getting a white model 360 in the first place

I also asked someone at a garage sale if they had any videogames, she told me that she probably had some at her house and had me come back the next day. She had forgotten and I gave her my number in exchange for her business card (she makes healthy chocolates). She a little on the elderly side, so I'm hoping for a NES or something.

That's the SUPER ghetto method LOL!  I meant the "kits" that remove the "X" clamps and help add more heat sink material for some of the chips that tend to overheat ;)

I picked up a PSone redesigned model for $10 with a small lot of games...but one of them; Syphon Filter 2 only has Disc 2...damnmit

I think I'll just sell it. Still, how much do you think it will get me at a local game store?
