Ooh I wish I was that lucky. Every time I do see a garage sale, I immediately scan the place for any signs of games. I even tell my parents to look for them when they go to garage sales. Havent made any luck yet though :/

I just discovered I got another NES game.  It's been lost in the van for a few days.  :P  It's some game called Strider from Capcom.  Another 25 cents.  More for my collection!  Edited earlier post...

Some game called Strider?  Some game called Strider?!?!?!!?  Only one of the best Action Platformers ever created!!!  Not sure on the NES version, but most other versions are at the very least pretty good.

My bad. :D  I'll play it as soon as I get an NES (hopefully within a few weeks).  Then I'll be sure to play it just on your recommendation.  Now all I need is Bionic Commando and also Half-Life for the Dreamcast and I'll be happy.

Half-Life DC was never released, you'd have to burn it to a selfboot DC CD.

I have both the NES and Genesis versions of Strider. The NES version is not as good, but I still think it is worth owning. In fact, the NES version feels like an entirely different game, what with the NES just being incapable of replicating the arcade in any significant way.

Just went out and got more stuff.  I started with $15.
First sale I got a Metallica CD and Pokemon: The First Movie for $2 (not the best deal).
Second off I got Karas: The Revelation (an anime movie) and Sonic 3D Blast for $2.
The next sale I really liked.  I started out trying to buy Full Throttle and Take No Prisoners (Both in original boxes) as well as a bunch of mini-cd's with 3D glasses packaged in  with each of them (only the extreme 3D PC Games) for $5.  She just gave me all her computer games instead.

PC
Atari Anniversary Edition
Britannica Puzzle Potpourri
Full Throttle (Limited Edition)
Galaxy of WIN Games
Microsoft Golf
Othello
Sim City 3000
Solitaire Games
Sonic 3D Blast
Take No Prisoners

Mini CD-ROM (extreme 3D PC Games)
AxySnake
RollerBot
Skymaze (Sealed)
Tennis Antics (Sealed)
Turbo Toons

Mini CD-ROM (pocketware)
Chess Compendium 3D
Five Card Drop
Perfect Pool
Reversi
Star Miner: Battle for Supremacy
TRAX: The Robot Wars

I remember buying Skymaze for $1. (or maybe $0.50?) What a waste of money.

Not finding much recently.  I've gotten a Green Gameboy Color ($2) in excellent condition, Pokemon Yellow ($1), YuGiOh Dark Duel Stories ($1).  I also got Half-Life and Half-Life Opposing Force last week for about $6.

That's a nice find I'd say!

I want to go garage sailing but my impatience would get the best of me after 2 or 3 that had no games at all.

Garage sales are kinda hit or miss.
I do a lot of driving with my job so I am out and about.
Lots of times I find nothing.

Best find I ever made was a multi-family sale where they had 3 NES systems, 1 with the original box, each had 2 controllers and cables - $5.00 each. The one in the box came with the power pad.

They all needed cleaning, but they all worked.

A few weeks ago, I had stumbled upon a garage sale that were selling nes games. I think they were selling the following...
*Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt x 2 (I got two of those two!)
*Blades of Steel (got it)
*Wheel of Fortune (got it too)
*Super Mario Bros 3 (I don't got it, but I got the GBA version)
*Cobra Triangle
*Robocop
I bought both Cobra Triangle and Robocop for $3 Canadian.
