I've been Craigslist sniping, so not technically a garage sale snag, but oh well!

Picked up:
Genesis Model 2
Sega 32X
Knuckles Chaotix
Herzog Zwei
Splatterhouse 2
2 three button controllers
1 six button controller
1 Sega Mouse
All the hookups for the console and 32x
and like 10 random games, some boxed, two of them are 32x games.
All for $50
Not too bad.

Bought a NES in the original box from my friends aunt for $50. Two complete games and a few others. Nothing too special worth listing accept a copy of Action 52! Then turned around and sold the box to my roommate for $20 and the NES with a couple games for $40. Made my money back and then some, and got myself a copy of Action 52.

I stay on the grind! ;)

  • Your words are as empty as your soul!
actually sometimes you get more stuff out of ebay than garage saling like this weekend no luck

but on these past weeks i got

castlevania judgement simon belmont figure new in box $20
27 ds cases $15
killer instinct game boy complete $7
donkey kong game boy complete $10
4 game boy games with instruction book and dust case $10.49
pac man game boy complete $4.36
castlevania lament of innocence game and strategy guide $4.29
92 cassette cases like new condition $8
kid dracula game boy japan version $6

and many others. so i think ebay is a good place to get games for cheap.

Couple good finds this week:
At Goodwill I found 2 Sega Saturns with Controllers and one had a copy of 'Bootleg Sampler' each system was just $5. Only downside, neither system had a video cable :(

And at my local dump I scored a complete working NES system with 2 controllers, original gray zapper, Super Mario Bros & Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros 3 AND complete still in their boxes copies of Contra, Pinball, King Fu, and Legend of Zelda. :D

Took a rare Flea Market trip this past weekend...

Found a decent sized box of Sega Genesis games at one of the first booths I stopped at.  Had about twenty games in there and the seller only wanted $20.  I didn't bother to sort through, figured I'd just take a gamble and ended up talking them down to $15.  I bought it and took a pit stop after leaving to see what was in there.  Nothing too noteable until I hit the bottom of the box and found...

Splatterhouse 3

Best thing was that despite a little dust on the outside of the case, the game is complete and in mint condition.  The manual and cartridge label literally looks like they've never been touched.  And the best thing is that after spending $15 on the box of games and spending a short amount of time dusting a few cases off, I headed a few flea market isle over to the regular video game shop and sold the box of games I just bought for $40.  So, I got a complete copy of Splatterhouse 3 and $25 profit on the day.

I've always wanted that Resident Evil controller, even though I know it's pretty useless.

Not a garage sale, but I told my friend that I collected games and she came back from Thanksgiving break with these:

PS1
Monsters Inc Scream Team
MediEvil 2
Diablo

PS2
Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80's
Kingdom Hearts 2 (Greatest Hits)
Okami
Sonic Heroes
Teen Titans
War of the Monsters

Gamecube
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Party 8

Everything is CIB and in near perfect condition. The only thing missing is the manual to Okami. Really excited to play MediEvil 2.
