hey guys.  what do you use (paper-wise) or where do you go to print out the covers that are found on this site?  i tried printing out on regular paper but it didn't turn out too good.  i've seen some pictures of cased collections on here that look way better.  please let me know.  thanks!

I use a Kodak EasyShare 5100 All-In-One Printer I got off woot.com for $50, and I use Kodak Gloss Photo Paper (100-Pack) I get at Best Buy for around $10.

I've used the self service kiosks at Kinko's for my stuff. Unfortunately that gets really expensive in a hurry (~$1 per cover + you're charged for the time you use). They look about as good as you could expect, but regardless I plan on some time investing in getting a nice printer myself.

Same as me ;) --- when I have ink :(
When I don't (and for 28mm bricks) I go to Kinko's self service kiosks.

Oh, I'm also about to try a different paper type. I've heard from a lot of reliable sources on other forums (more dvd/bd cover related) that Brochure paper is what's used for most official covers. Planning on trying that out in a week or two, I'll post results of how it goes after.

Problem is with kinkos you have to pay for every minute you use there computers.  If i remember correctly its like 25 or 50 cents a minute or something!

As always, I recommend OfficeMax.  Its the cheapest good quality print from a national company.

It's actually more than that :( which is why I try very hard not to have any more 28mm bricks... I could only ever get my covers to print correctly on thier "advanced" PC, which had Photoshop CS# installed on it.. but then it cost more :\

Everytime I tried their normal pc's it messed with the % size and they didn't come out right.

I always just use good ol' mspaint on the normal pc to print things and they usually come out perfect for me.

Well except that time they were out of legal paper and it accidentally printed a few covers on some insanely large paper. Thanks to that i have a massively blown up version of the Disgaea 1 artwork.
