I apologize if I missed this, but where could I find printable CGC covers for SNES + N64 games? I know the NES ones were posted to the site, maybe I missed the news on the N64 / SNES ones?

I usually just order covers with the cases, but I would eventually like to print my own at higher quality.

I don't think there is comprehensive topic for those yet.

There has not been an "official" release for either system yet. So people have largely taken matters into their own hands. Some people resize the UGC covers to match the CGC dimensions, and others make all-new covers. For example, I pre-ordered 100 SNES cases in bulk for my collection and ended up making my own covers for every single one because I didn't want to wait for someone else to do it.

Wiggy has posted a thread containing his custom white N64 covers (I think he did the entire library), and I posted up covers for the SNES games in my own collection (including a template file for GIMP so people can make their own to share). There's also the very cool "Fusion" covers popularized by TyrannicalFascist. Take a look around and you may find something you can use.

The NES collection was created by Shenske as he put many man-hours into slaving away at preserving the system and finding the best quality scans for each cover.  There are SOME that could be reworked (which is why they are not currently hosted), but the NES collection was done by one man (Shenske).  There is a "Let's Finish This!" thread to fully finish covering the NES system that needs only a couple more scans left.

As for N64 / SNES, there are not enough great scans for the system; coupled with the fact that the boxes were horizontal and UGCs are vertical (which is not the same as taking a square CD PS1 game and turning it into a vertical DVD rectangle).

The best place to start would be to try and create a master post having a collection of peoples RAW scans and completed creations.  I remember seeing something like it back... 7 years ago...  but scanners at the time sucked.  Boxes were also cheaper then... so there is that...

The "official" release for the NES system was an admin showcasing his work, sticky'ing his thread.  Shoutouts to Shenske for all of his hard work to the NES covers he touched up.

I thought this was the case, but wanted to double check in case I missed something. Thanks!

The US N64 library is relatively small compared to the NES, so even though I don' have many US N64 RAWS but I'd be willing to start a thread if it gets the ball rolling. I'm not great at making covers but its there's any other way I can help ,even if its just in organizing the effort I can certainly do that!

Great idea!

Looks like you're spamming our Forums.
I have to second that. Glad you are excited and all but it looks like you are attempting to boost your posts to get into the members only areas.

Thanks for fixing.  That got annoying quick.   :(
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
