The inevitable: I need a scanner
Aganar:
So I've been putting this off for over a year now, and it strikes me that it's not going to change anytime soon. So, for the good of the site (and myself, but I'll pretend it's mostly for the site), I wish to communicate the following:
I am in possession of a mint-condition Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations 2 box. Several people on the site have mentioned that they have the game, but no box. The current box up on the site is a mock-up; the cover is accurate enough (albeit low-quality), but the back is completely someone else's work. I presume that most people are like me, and want to make their box look as official as possible. I have been meaning to buy a scanner for awhile and scan it myself, but I just haven't gotten around to it, and am somewhat short on cash.
This is where you come in: I need an avid box guru with a high-quality scanner to (kindly) provide me with their address, scan the box when I send it to them, and return it.
This is a rather important item to me, so I am somewhat hesitant about sending it out; but, for the sake of making sure the database has a correct back for SRT:OG2, I am willingly to temporarily part with it.
I've also got a box for Spiderman: Mysterio's Menace (also a GBA game) that I could send if someone wants to scan it. However, I might be the only person on Earth who actually owns the game, so it might be unnecessary.

I'm willing to do it if no one else wants to, but I'm sure one of the other more experienced guys would be better at, so lets think of me as a last resort eh? :P

Wouldn't it be easier to go to walmart - buy a scanner - scan the covers - and then return the scanner?
MisterCreazil:
Oh yeah! Do that! that's much smarter! :) I love abusing WalMart

I detest Walmart. It's the only reason I suggested it.
