and Movies include :
Spriggan, Spirited Away, Demon City Shinjuku, Metropolis, Akira, Karas, Steamboy, Howl's Moving Castle, and I'm sure there are more

Thanks yet again everyone. (you guys are extremely helpful!)

Just curious, you ever hear of an anime named Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann? Might want to check it out.
As for Scrapped Princess, I've only read a bit of the manga, and I say it's worth checking out.

Gurren Lagann is one of the few anime series that I enjoy. I'm extremely hard to please when it comes to anime.

Other anime/manga I enjoy includes Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Berserk, Gunsmith Cats and Kino's Journey. In fact, I'd say all of those are "Must See" anime. Pretty much anyone who would say "___ is the best anime ever" I can pretty much assume has never seen Kino's Journey.

I've also started to get into Monster. It just sounds good - like, the type of good that you don't have to be an anime fan to enjoy.

Edit: Oh yeah, my favorite anime movie is Paprika. Again, something that just has to be seen - on Blu-Ray, if possible.

Ooh I'd advise you not to watch the second one yet. The first 10 episodes are extremely important for a lot of the dramatic moments in the rest of the series. But then again I'd figure you wouldn't do that :P

Hey Zomb, just going over some of my old posts seeing if I had asked a question I will be asking in a different post and re-read the replies I got here...I now own all of Gurren Legaan and a Drill core Necklace :)

As far as Anime I am looking into now, Samurai Champloo, FLCL and Summer Wars come to mind. I have seen all of them but would like to own them.

OH! I never did get around to watching Scrapped Princess, but own the whole collection

Man I haven't kept up with manga/anime in such a long time. I don't even remember reading Scrapped Princess at this point. Going on what I used to watch/read, I remember the Trigun mangas being awesome, as well as Beck (Mongolian Chop Squad). Tried to get into watching Evangelion, but at that age I was too impatient to sit it through. I have seen both the manga and anime versions of Death Note and I still think highly of that series. FLCL was entertaining, but I honestly don't remember much of it. Also all of my friends have been nagging me to watch Panty & Stocking (Gainax's latest anime). I haven't got around to it.

...Well that was an interesting trip back to some good memories. I think you've just convinced me to start reading again (I only ever got to BECK #4 cause I would buy one volume per convention I went to).

My girlfriend has a core drill necklace, she used to wear it all the time. :)

As for American comics I highly suggest The Walking Dead. Really good ongoing character development. It's also more of an apocalypse survival social commentary more than a mindless zombie story. I find it to be very human in terms of emotions (though the arguments can get silly at times..)

Scrapped Princess is a really nice show I think. One of the more overlooked shows out there, and definitely one of the better ones if you ask me. You should really go ahead and get around to watching it.

I don't read much of anything. I do own the Trigun series, got it in the newest release where it was less than $30 for the whole set on Amizon. I though of watching Beck, but it didn't seem that interesting to me.

A friend of mine game me his Evangelion DVD set and movies. He's into Gundam and heard there was a lot of action and Mecha battles... he was disappointed.  I just sold him my FMA set for $30 to get the thin box sets so I can fit more in my shelves. He let me keep the Alchemist Volume 1-13 booklets that came with them though :)

Im pretty sure I will be watching FMA Brootherhood soon.

I own a lot of games and movies but haven't watched or played a lot of them.

Ewww you own DBGT? Probably for the better that you haven't watched that abomination  ;)

I've seen Record of Lodoss War and Final Fantasy Unlimited. Lodoss War is pretty decent, FFU is fun as long as you don't mind that it's final fantasy in name only and has a Digimon vibe going on.

I think you'd really like Trinity Blood based on what you've mentioned that you like. I've only seen the first few episodes but it seems like it'd be right up your alley. I've seen all of Lain too, that's quite a trip to watch, very surreal show.

You gotta tell me how you like Angel Links if you ever get around to watching it. I've been somewhat interested ever since I heard that it takes place in the Outlaw Star universe...

1ST  of all watch FMA brotherhood it is much better than the older series it follows the manga all the way to the end , the older series made up its own ending since the manga was still being written , there will be some rehash in the begining  but it worth watching the whole series,  also if you dont mind reading subtitles crunchyroll streams anime. if you have the pay subscription you can watch the new eps as they air otherwise wait about 2 weeks and they stream alot of it for free . if you have netflix they have added a ton of anime as well  just finihsed watching heroic age which i enjoyed and sacred blacksmith which was allright

I do indeed have Netflix, I actually let a friend of mine use his Xbox to stream from my account.
Im borrowing the first 2 box sets of FMA:B from a friend right now.

I have a wife and tend to put things off until she is interested as well. (hence why i stopped on Naruto Shippuden, Fable III and yet to start FMA:B)

While I have a few Anime fans attention...anyone else miss Toonami?  :'(

Toonami was awesome. The Buu saga in DBZ scared the crap out of me as a kid.
