https://www.mediafire.com/#thcmkung4rpr6 look at this if its ok or not of sonic chaso cover if is I do more
sheep2001:
the front cover is still horribly stretched and low res.
your big problem is that the original artwork for game gear games is portrait, and your template is landscape oriented. You are always going to end up with the artwork stretched out of proportion, or cropped really badly.
See the difference between my template
and yours using the same artwork
Yours obscures most of the bottom of the image, and has a huge gap on the left. The only ways to fix this are:
1) Draw in new artwork on the left. Nigh on impossible for most covers, and WAY too time consuming
2) Enlarge the image (to scale) - this would obscure even more of the bottom of the image (like this)
3) Stretch it out of shape - NOT AN OPTION!!!! NEVER DO THIS!!!! IT LOOKS HORRIBLE AND IT BURNS MY EYES!!!! (like this)
So....in essence - the problem really lies with the template. You need to have a more portrait shaped area for the cover art. Either by using a side banner, like all the gameboy/game gear covers on the site, or use a more portrait sized case, like master system/megadrive cases. Or use custom artwork with your template, rather than retail.

ok - I had a play with a blue grid template in a portrait style, and came up with this.
