Ok - we’ll, I am going to be honest here, I’m not trying to be unkind.

1 - Please use a spell checker.

2 - low quality fronts

3 - stretched/distorted artwork

4 - unreadable back texts need re-typing

5 - the template obscures too much of the art on the front

6 - spine titles don’t match the front, or the colour doesn’t match the spine background.

Exactly this.  If you want people to have them printed on their shelves, then you’ll need to give them a little more love.  I’ve produced some way worse than this when I started out, and the other artists here gave me pointers on how to improve. (In fact some of my original GG covers got hosted way back, and they are terrible!)

Well, I made one to do a ton of covers for TDirunner.

The covers are in my box account.  However.  The template you were working on was a nice alternative with a bit of polishing.

I can’t remember if the template is in my box account.  I’ll check tomorrow if you wanted to take a look at it.

Also, something to bear in mind is that shadowfox is making some cases specifically for game gear carts, which is why nobody has been making covers recently.  We’re waiting to for them to be produced so we can see what size they are.

I never meant to be unkind with my response to your covers.  I hope you continue to work on them.

Most of us use Photoshop, (cs2 is available free from adobe), or there is gimp or paint.net as alternatives.

Get Paint.net.
Free and easy to use.
Way better than MS Paint / MS Paint 3D.
