Huh? No, never heard of it. In Japan, Gladius and Gradius are the same thing. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gradius

I have a 3DO.... and I have what I consider a lot of games for it. Thankfully I did not pay much for the collection. In the early 2000's I gave a guy $25 for all of these games and a system, Light gun and 2 or 3 controllers.  Not a bad haul now, but back then it was a risk that I was willing to take.

I miss my CD-i. Even if it was dumb. I liked those dumb Zelda games and all the cheesy cutscenes in them, as well as Hotel Mario, Zombie Dinos, etc. Hotel Mario is actually a good game, kind of a cross between Elevator Action and Wrecking Crew.

Honestly nothing really stands out on the 3DO when comparing it to competing systems. However, Super Street Fighter 2 was one of the best home ports I have seen.

That's kinda what I was thinking. Not much reason to pick up a 3DO today, unless you're a collector. I'm not so much anymore, unless maybe you really wanna play Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Haha.

But yeah, SSFII Turbo was pretty great for its time! I remember renting a 3DO and SNES controller adapter way back when.
