...so my 5 year old doesn’t screw around with it.
Has it really been that long... whoa time flies...
For real! It’s crazy. He’s like a giant ball of endless energy. He always wants to play games with me (you’ll notice the LEGO dimensions portal), but has just about zero patience. He usually gets fed up after 4-5 minutes. Then it’s back to legos...

No kidding. We celebrated 4 years with my oldest this past weekend.
Happy b-day to yours! Mine actually turns 5 on the 16th, and I 40 on the 18th

Extron randomly took a dump last week, so it’s been yanked and tossed into the workshop.
Ouch. Don't tell me that.
Also, how many ways do you need to test NES or SNES games.
I’m genuinely shocked. Those things are build to take about anything you can throw at them. I have another in the shop, but t doesn’t have audio. Going to see if I can’t swap some part and get it working again. Fingers scrossed...
As far as testing goes, with so many damned retro clone consoles, it’s become a pain in the butt to check for compatibility. But at least they’re all tax write-offs. They’re legitimately ONLY used to test games.
