Saipa play-offs 2018
Arseen:
I was at 1st play-off game of our towns Ice Hockey team.
We won 4-2.
So I bough fantrip to the opponent's town (Lahti) for the next game on Thursday.
If we win that we go to next round agains TPS (Turun Palloseura, not torso-polaric syndrome...).
If we lose the deciding game will be at our home town on Saturday.
Quite good comeback as last season we were dead last by quite big margin, this year we were 7th (out of 15) on Regular Season.
1st - 6th got seeded directly.
7th - 10th have to play extra deciding round (7th vs 10th & 8th vs 9th) of best of three, of which the first games were today.
Arseen:
Second game behind and we lost 0-3.
Saipa played absolutely shit.
Opponents took many penalties but we couldn't do anything, not even 5 vs 3.
Opponents still mostly managed to keep the buck at our end.
After the game 25+ security guards and 2 police escorted us (87 fans) to our busses.
Not so that we were hostile but more they were keeping the fans of the opponent away from us ass they have tendency for serious violence, especially the unofficial fanclub (name translates roughly to) Extremest Movement.
Well the deciding game is at home on Saturday.
Arseen:
We F****** did it.
Opponents were leading 2-0 up until 53 minutes, but we shattered them in 10 minutes by first taking the game to overtime and then scoring the win.

Nice. Those are the best kind of wins.
Arseen:
First real play-off game behind against team who placed 2nd on regular season.
The game was played in their home city.
4 wins needed to advance.
They scored first.
We did next 3 goals.
They made 2nd goal 7 minutes to go and just and just managed to tie about minute left.
After 18 minutes of over time they scored.
So, so close, but no cigar.
Next game on Thursday here at home.
